
Paul McIlroy is currently completing a PhD in real-time computer vision at the Department of Engineering, Cambridge University. From 2005-2009 he was Technical Director at Hawk-Eye Innovations, the company best known for the system which allows tennis players to challenge line-calls at Wimbledon and other elite-level tournaments. His current work at the Machine Intelligence Laboratory looks at subjects such as generating 3D models from uncalibrated images, object recognition, augmented reality and much more.
